Lunar Manufacturing Processes 1
Hammer operated impact extruder can make parts of prewarmed mild steel, cold Al and cold Mg.  Frame parts for miners and vehicles could be extruded.
Relatively simple sprockets could be drop forged and then machined to a fine finish for chain drives. Beveled gears will be cut from steel blanks ("Hockey pucks") by expert machinsts and/or robots and/or CNC machines.
We must wonder, what will be more efficient?  Highly skilled human workers or robots for some factory tasks???  Though energy is available 24/7/365 at the L5 construction stations, building a space colony to house 10,000 workers is in the distant future.  Perhpaps L5 by 2095.  Pressurized lava tubes in the Moon could support large workforces.  Humans with robots and machines could make finished products and launch them to L5, but of equal importance they must build moon mining machines in large numbers and furnaces to smelt metals and excavate millions of tons of regolith.  Outvac work will probably be done mostly be teleoperated robots with human crews in sub-selene habitations.
