| Melting and pulverizing ores and flux materials is not the only way to do things. It might be better to take the powdery iron bearing minerals, compress them in molds and sinter the particles together. This might use less energy because only the outer layers of the particles and edges where they touch must be melted. Remember, most of the processes described in this website are speculative and need experimental verification. Meanwhile, have fun! |
